True enough. The sad part though is that the average grocery store worker is no brain surgeon. The union thugs get them together and tell them that if they stick together and support their leadership they will get what they deserve (read "want.") They don't realize that the only people who benefit from a union in 2013 are the thugs in charge, who live large on the dues paid out of members' hard earned wages.
The union rank and file is to be pitied, as sheep being sheared by their supposed protectors.
They will get what they deserve, all right, but not what they want.
True that ! My 15 year old daughter (at the time) took a job as a courtesy clerk (bagger, etc.). The one year she spent in that organization made her more anti union than the previous 15 years under my roof! Thanks ;)
