LIVE Thread: Senate cloture vote. Guess the number of RINOs that vote to support "Dingy" Harry

Senate just came into session. Happily, Dingy Harry is sparing us any commentary early on this morning, as is McConnell. Debate goes until 12:10, at which time there is 30 minutes reserved for majority and minority leaders , then the vote. Will there be any more GOP intramural fireworks on the senate floor?

The Supreme Court passed Obamacare as a TAX.
Then how are there waivers and whole groups, like Muslims and Congress, exempted, when the Constitution clearly states all taxes must be applied equally?
And it was passed with NO Republican votes in both houses.
Yeah, that was real representative democracy.

But what the GOPe doesn't seem to understand is the pain from Obiecare will grow exponentially over the next several election cycles. In truth there are no “safe” seats.

Lunatic Bernie Sanders babbling about robbing Peter to pay Paul.Ironic, isn't it, Bernie being the only avowed socialist in Congress?

His voice is absolutely annoying; even his hair looks crazy.
He rambled quite a bit, didn't he?!

I thought Bernie only represented “Paul”, who is OK with robbing Peter

3. If you didn’t see Special Report last night, go here , at the 1:00 minute mark, to hear what Judge Napolitano says about Boehner’s chances of remaining Speaker if he screw it up.

10 senators. That puts the Republicans at 35. Add the 4 rat senators who are in danger and tha makes 39. Not enough for to stop cloture.
So my prediction is 39 against, 61 for. Bill goes back to House.

Grassley just Tweeted that he OPPOSES cloture
Thanks Senator Grassley
He was the first Senator I ever listened to, giving a speech on the floor of the Senate many moons ago. He was excellent.

Just called Burr’s office (NC). “He’s not sure if he will vote for cloture”. At this late hour?

I have had Lamar Alexander on auto-redial for over 24 hours. Unless people kept the lines jammed all night, his phone is off the hook.
LA introduced himself and asked for my vote at the McCain rally in Kingsport. He swore to me he would uphold Consevative values if elected. Instead, he became Corker’s puppy. He is a bitter disappointment.

After spending some hours reading about Corker on the net, I can’t stand the man. He’s Democrat-lite no doubt.
