You assume that I am one of those who chose not to vote for Romney. You assume wrong. I do not intend to sully myself that way again, however.
You call me brain dead. I simply pointed out that a big portion of the GOP base resoundingly informed the GOP leadership that Romney was a non-starter. Then, when they held true to their word, they are indicted by arrogant, angry folks like you.
So, if honest accounting of history is now brain-death, I am happy to plead guilty.
You impugn me as seeking “purity”, but ignore the fact that the argument against Romney was *acceptability*. Whether you accept this honest history or not, it is truth.

I intend to wash that taste out of my mouth and never again accept that 50% less excrement in the sandwich is a superior recipe. From your tone and words, you apparently intend to tell your GOP “elite” betters that anything less than 100% of the demo-excrement is just fine. Using the dems as the bottom line pretty much obliterates the minimum standards, doesn’t it?
If the R candidate does not acceptably represent my conservative views, then the R party obviously has no use for my vote.
If you and others believe that anyone who is unwilling to accept a particular candidate in exact compliance with their expressed opinions is unwelcome in the party, then please go ahead and expel them - but don’t feign self-righteous indignation when conservatives stand true to their explicit word.
If you’d like to discuss the true history of this coercive moment in the R party, I will gladly engage. But if your mental mettle can’t withstand that challenge, and all you can do is spout vitriol and spurious labels, you are not worth the time.
