Bad government programs don’t get cut - they get cash an prized to fix them. The attempted coercion of 1/6 of the economy will result in another 1/6 to fix it. If it is funded it stays until the end of the republic - that is roughly a decade.

I agree with others. Letting it collapse isn’t a strategy. They will add layer upon layer, fix upon fix, and the behemoth will only grow. No government program I can think of has ever been terminated once people are dependent on it.
The government already blew right past any normal budget limits when they started printing money. They don’t care what Obamacare does to the budget because they don’t really care about deficit spending. Deficit spending to an obamist is meaningless nonsense when he has the keys to the printing press.
Asserting the right to control your health care, in the way that they are doing it, puts them in the drivers seat on so many other levels that they will never give this up without the most bitter of fights. They are this close to running the game permanently; all they have to do is bring this and the immigration deal home and they have complete control for a generation to come. There is no republic past this year. Its do or die now, now, and the GOP acts like this is just one more horse trade.
So we can go to single payer? Oh boy!!

You can forget it collapsing. Congress[Republicans and Democrats] will make sure that it doesn’t collapse. Recall yesterday [Friday]? That is , until it has accomplished what they designed it to do [put the private insurance companies out of business, put the doctors in private practice out of business, establish a network of agencies to completely control the daily activities of the sheep. Completely Control means determining what each sheep is allowed to buy, to use, to sell, and how they spend their time. And the penalty for violating these regulations. then it will give way to a one payer system.
