It would be good for that. I've been casting plastics of several different types for various projects, and it's a PITA to create a master, make a mold, etc.....

20 minutes on SolidWorks and press the print button would be cool.

I have a quickloader design for double barrel shotguns that I have printed up in hard plastic. But I need the objects printed in a rubberized plastic composite, to be flexible. The cost to run a few for demos is astonishingly high, so I’ve set the project aside for now.
