Arizona obviously has its share of low-information voters.
I wish it were only LIVs but I believe democrats cross-over in the Republican primary and vote for McCain and then vote for the whoever wins the dem nomination in the general. This has been going on for years. Back in the late 90s I used to surf a music board that had a good number of leftwing hippie types on it and one of them admitted she would vote for him in the primary and so would all of her wookie friends. They knew they couldn’t win with their dem candidate so they did the next best thing. A pretty good tactic if you ask me and one the teaparty should whenever possible stealthily employ in “blue” areas. I’m just hoping his latest episode of warmongering will make them reconsider.
