Benedict Arnold was pretty awesome too. McCain is a dem/commie punk now;

F*ck McCain and I'll extend the same to you for defending someone like him who seeks to abolish my liberty now.

Benedict Arnold turned the tide aginst Britain at Lexington. He was badly crippled there and refused to have his leg cut off. His reward was being totally screwed financially (his expendeture records went down with his boat in Lake Champlain) by political enemies in Congress.

The West Point museum has a corner dedicated to Arnold's lexington exploits, and the Smithsonian has one of his salvaged Lake Champlain gunboats on display.
