McCain knew his only chance to win in 2008 was to swing for the fences, so he selected a true conservative, Sarah Palin, as his running mate. I disagree (About the Palin Choice only). I think McCain never intended to win and the choice of Sarah Palin was a mistake that almost ruined his plan.

I think Palin was selected so they could destroy her. She was an up and comer and they were afraid of her.
