I have a hunch the “gimme” crowd might eventually be seeing a portion of their welfare payments being deducted as their share of Obamacare. That would not sit well, I’m guessing!
I don’t think that will happen. They are a D voting block. Watch for the unions to be exempt as well, and not just Congress, but ALL gub’mint employees, and undocumented workers.
But those exemptions will not be handed out till the mid-terms are over you can bet.
Biggest problem the cities face now is unfunded liabilities. This was only a way to fund those liabilities, thus a tax.
A federal fund will be created to finance those exemptions I reckon.
