California is NOT red on the local level....at least not in its big cities and metro areas wher about 90% of the people reside.
Well we do know one thing - CA voters do NOT respect moderate republicans, which is all they've had to vote for on that side of the ballot since 84.
I'm thinking a principled alternative to liberal policies might not do too badly here.
Well if you live there you should know but when you see an issue like homosexual marriage being defeated rather handily, there is some red left.
