I’m beginning to wonder how far we really are from an armed insurrection. There are times I feel angry enough to participate in one, and I know I can’t be alone, but reason prevails and I try to bide my time in the hopes the pendulum begins to swing the other way.
With the warrantless collection of citizens’ electronic communication, gun and ammo restrictions, and paperless economy, it’s almost like the feds have been planning for a rebellion a lot longer than anyone else may have.

For now, that’s right, but let the Leftists thwart those efforts and all bets are off.
I would also point out that now that the RATS have $h!t in their own nests in California, they are “migrating” back eastward (and the article’s commenting on the fact that California’s “demise” as a “middle of the road” state came with the “migration” of these same people from the Northeastern States and Illinois) to states they “passed over” on their way here. And the underlying premise that these “Leftists” can’t seem to figure out why everything turns to $h!t wherever they light ( not unlike the illegals from Mexico). It’s as though they are undaunted in their efforts to make socialism/Marxism work despite the generally accepted notion that at the end of the day, it doesn’t. California is a RED State based on land occupied by decent people, but the masses of morons in the big cities overwhelms us. Just like every other state to one degree or another. Utah is as conservative a state as exists, but not it’s only big city, Salt Lake. Ditto for Nevada, save for Clark County.
It also occurred prior to the War of the Rebellion, when Maine was admitted as a state (previously part of Mass.) with Missouri as part of the Missouri Compromise.
If Colorado and California refuse to let their counties go who want out and a civil war is what it takes then, sooner or later, they'll get one.
