(AP) GREENVILLE, N.C. - A man who investigators think shot four people near a Greenville Wal-Mart appears to have planned the shooting but picked out his victims at random, Greenville Police Chief Hassan Aden said Sunday.

Seems to me Chief Hassan made it a point to state that this animal selected his victims at random. WHY?
