This is an urgent update on the fight to stop funding Obamacare.
Senators Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and John Cornyn (R-TX) — the top two Republican leaders in the U.S. Senate — announced yesterday that they will support "cloture" on the government funding bill, giving Harry Reid and the Democrats a procedural green light to fund Obamacare with only 50 votes.
Mitch McConnell and John CornynBreitbart News is reporting that McConnell and Cornyn are using their leadership positions to pressure other Republicans to oppose Senators Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Mike Lee (R-UT) in their effort to defund Obamacare.
According to a senior staffer quoted in the news report, "Nobody is fighting harder to make sure Obamacare is funded than Mitch McConnell and John Cornyn."
This is the ultimate betrayal.

We knew Mitch McConnell and John Cornyn weren't with us when they voted to fund Obamacare earlier this year. But then, under pressure from grassroots, they said they supported the effort to defund it. They even ran political ads in their home states to make voters think they were on their side.
But now, faced with the prospect of having to fight for the things they claim to believe, these Senate leaders have surrendered.
Mitch McConnell and John Cornyn have surrendered to Barack Obama, Harry Reid, and the Democrats. More importantly, they have surrendered to Obamacare — the biggest job killer in America.

The house does not have to accept the changes. They can fund individual parts of government one at a time and leave out ZeroCare. They will have to fight using every means or we will be a communist dictatorship.

That’s not news. We all knew that would happen, we just didn’t know when.
I predict that before Saturday the House will accept the Senates version.
The real vote on defunding is tomorrow, when Reid will call for cloture, which requires 60 votes. If all 46 GOP senators vote “no”, Reid would have to have 60 votes to strip out the House language defunding ObamaCare. If the GOP votes with Reid to give him cloture, all he needs is 51 Democrat votes to strip defunding from the CR. When the second vote happens, it makes no difference that McConnell and McCain and other traitors vote “no” because Reid has enough Democrat votes anyway. The first vote tomorrow is the one that matters . The second vote later is a CYA vote for the GOP traitors to put in campaign ads and means absolutely nothing except that they are liars.
Do we stand together against the forces of tyranny?
If ever there was a time to do so, it is now.
We will never be stronger than we are now.

I love your passion, that’s my dream, to rekindle America’s passion. We’ve lost so many battles and many have lost hope but that can only lead to a real takeover of America. We need to rise up and fight. The people don’t want this law yet our government is forcing it on us.

Ted Cruz and Mike Lee are the only two Republicans in the US Senate who CONSISTENTLY make an effort to actually CONSERVE, in my humble, but usually correct opinion.
Therefore, use those two Senators to compare and contrast the present opponents to Old-Style Republican Cornyn.
My guess is that someone on the TEXAS PING list personally knows a superb future Senate candidate, cut from the same cloth as Cruz and Lee.
Yep, it is a dirty job, but we need to reach out to these future candidates, and ask them to run for Federal office for the good of their children, grandchildren and their descendants.

I’m from Texas. I called his DC office today and his mailbox was full. I called his Houston office several times and the line was always busy. Maybe Cornyn already knows he has made a big mistake. Hope so.
