Durbin conveniently doesn’t mention that the government subsidies will only apply to low-income people. They will get substantial help in paying their premium under the state exchanges. But millions of middle-class Americans are going to get clobbered by the skyrocketing premiums. They will not be eligible for a subsidy. The sticker shock with Obamacare will be immense.
Durbin also conveniently avoids the very important point that the AMERICAN PEOPLE are HIS employer and WE want to dump HIM from insurance coverage subsidies.
