No news of damage currently - this is a large and shallow earthquake.

Thank goodness the earthquake machine on the intl. space station hasn't fallen to the Sequester. Ya never know when we might need that thing. I love it when they turn on the microwave. They run around like ants as their skin peels off.
They aren't still trying to keep that secret are they?

Yeah 7.7 does not seem to be that powerful...
I just noticed this....Look at where they placed a few portable array devices in norther canada and alaska.
That is in line with my noticing the area that interacts with the mid atlantic ridge...interesting.

The bad news for Karachi is that most of the construction is un-reinforced mud brick.
The good news is that about half the population (of 11-12 million) lives in cardboard boxes flexible enough to recover from the quakes. [only partially sarcastic]
