The U.S. Senate has some arcane procedural rules, and as ordinary Americans our eyes glaze over trying to decipher them. But it’s important for us to understand that Sen. Ted Cruz’s efforts to defund Obamacare are worthwhile and doable.

We shouldn’t preemptively surrender the fight to those who rammed through this outrageously burdensome and unaffordable ploy for government control of health care even though some are trying to convince us that the fight is futile. Just because a fight isn’t easy, doesn’t mean it’s not worth fighting.

This defund movement boils down to a very simple request. As Andrew McCarthy recently pointed out: “Obama himself has already unilaterally and unconstitutionally defunded aspects of Obamacare, including repugnant accommodations for big corporations, Obama insiders, and members of Congress.” All we’re asking is that the rest of America “get the same relief from this awful law that Obama cronies, the ruling class, and the politically-connected get.”

I am so disgusted with the likes of our so called Senate Minoriry *leader* Myth McConnell, who came out today and said he would NOT support Ted Cruz and Mike Lee’s option of OPPOSING CLOTURE on Dingy Harry’s 0Care plan.

I am equally disgusted with my (hopefully, soon to be primaried) Senator Cornyn. Shame on BOTH of these lily-livered COWARDS for taking the easy way out by NOT supporting one of their own AND the American people, while SUPPORTING 0CARE & DIMS. SHAME ON THESE COWARDS!!

I worked my rear off for these two great conservatives - Cruz and Lee. I raised as much $ as I possibly could, I made phone calls for BOTH and they have made me so proud and I feel like every single thing I did was worth it and their courage and leadership deserve even more than I was able to support them with.

McConnell and Cornyn - take note!!

I will work until I can work no more to raise donations, make phone calls, knock on as many doors as I can to support your opponent(s). I will work 20 times as hard as I did for Cruz and Lee, for your opponent.

Funny how all of these quisling azz, sorry RINO’s run as fast as they can to the right, for conservative cover, when they’re up for re-election. Afterwards, they sashay back over to the left, even faster.

Sorry Linda, opposing 0Care is NOT enough. In fact, it’s a weasley cover for RINO’s to say...”I voted to defund 0Care”. No you didn’t. The only way ANY Senator can *vote* to oppose 0DeathCare is by OPPOSING CLOTURE and NOT EVEN ALLOWING ANY VOTE TO COME UP.

These Republican cowards, like Myth McConnell, Corker, McStain, Cornball and even Bonehead and Cantor in the House are sickeningly giving cover to 0 and the Dims. They are compromised and *lead* with fear.

These spineless invertebrates are willing to undermine the will of The People for their power and for their despotic leader.

Sarah, Ted Cruz, Mike Lee and others know this...and they are the FEW who are willing to defend this great nation, under attack. And, God willing, I will stand with these brave patriots, regardless which way the wind blows.

However, this can only be the opening move in the game.

Reid will likely succeed in torpedoing the CR in the Senate. And, if not, it's hard to believe Zero would ever sign it.

If there's no CR, discretionary spending on ZeroCare is stopped (along with all discretionary spending — it's the dreaded gubmint shutdown). But mandatory spending continues. As will all manner of finagling to move money to continue ZeroCare implementation, legally or not. He's already broken the law multiple times, e.g., to grant exemptions and to postpone the unworkable employer mandate. The only remedy for his lawlessness is impeachment, which requires two thirds of the same Senate that won't pass the House's CR. He'll do his best to continue such shenanigans during a shutdown. He'll blame the inevitable problems on the GOP for not giving him a CR he would sign. And the MSM will carry his water on all of it!

I predict the best outcome would be a compromise in which Zero agrees to a year postponement. That would allow him more time to fix what he must know will be a train wreck and leave him in better shape after the 2014 election. If he doesn't come across, then let the train wreck happen! With no GOP fingerprints!

The sheeple are going to get screwed by ObamaCare! Might as well relax and break out the popcorn, since we don't really have a choice. Maybe some of the sheep will remember in November 2014 and 16!

BTW, Google Analytics tracker, which is much more invasive than Facebook's tracker and is DIRECTLY LINKED to g'ment computers, is present on every single FR page, even recording each keystroke when you post and when you make changes before posting. Now what do you say?
