Yeh, cause it's much more important that they collect info on people who disagree with them politically , than to focus their efforts on actually trying to prevent terrorist attacks.

After all, our precious and pampered politicians, might lose an election, and their tax payer funded perks, if they were to allow us to have our privacy, and the freedom to disagree with their exerting total control over every aspect of our lives.

Catching terrorists is not the important thing .(/s)
