Rothberg said he used his Galaxy Note II to take a picture of Clinton onstage, but the stunt was observed by the surveillance team, which resorted to draconian measures to erase the image.

Though ostensibly not political, Clintons address had the makings of an introductory campaign speech, replete with personal anecdotes, stories of world leaders and veiled warnings about the dangers of partisanship and the fragility of American democracy.
