First rule of protesting powerful people: make it a surprise.
1) Do not show up as a group. Arrive as individuals.
2) Do not have signs visible. Make signs on thin cloth, which can be secreted in purse or pocket.
3) Upon arrival, do not give any indication that you know any fellow activists. Do not sit together, but spread yourselves around.
I remember a bunch of us infiltrating an anti-gun meeting at a college. One of us got the microphone during the Q&A period and said some things annoying to the panel on stage. When a pair of campus cops came forward to eject the guy, all of us stood up and glared at them. It turned out that more than half of the attendees. about 40 of us, were pro-2A infiltrators. The security guys went back to their donuts.
“The security guys went back to their donuts.”
Great post! Great advice! Uplifting story.
I wish I could shake your hand.
This was needed in that school board meeting in Maryland in which a father who questioned the widely used Common Core textbooks (apprently written by Muslims and communists) was arrested!!!! for asking a question!
The sheeple just sat there.
Good points. How sad is it that you would have to use those tactics in your own church?
Sigh
