Todays vote is a victory for the American people, who should not be forced to spend another dime on Obamacare. Opponents of the law are, and must remain, united in their opposition to funding this unworkable, unaffordable law. Senate Democrats must now make a decision: will they stand with President Obama to protect Obamacare or will they reject partisan politics to protect their constituents.

“The takeover and elimination of competition, to favor specific LARGE contributors, aka, Drug Companies, along with moving to Single Payer for PRODUCTIVE earners subsidizing the parasitic Democrat voterbase, is what this is all about.... “
That is post of the year. Bravo!

He is the most arrogant, thin skinned POS I’ve ever seen, and that’s saying something.

Its not an exercise to get it to pass the Senate. Its to get the votes on record of those voting AGAINST defunding OCare (dems)
That alone will be the ammo needed to sink theDem majority

If it doesn’t matter either way, I would just as soon fight! Did the gays and other leftists quit when DOMA passed? Did Obama back off from his wild Socialism when the GOP took back the House? Does the left quit when gun control laws keep getting blocked?
Until we learn to fight like the opposition, we will continue to lose. I am with Cruz and Lee all the way!

That's just the thing though, the opposition doesn't fight like this. They build a plan and a base and wait for their opening and opportunity. 41 symbolic votes, and a new vote that has no chance is brute force in a game that requires thought and planning.
maybe I'm wrong and there is an amazing tactic about to unfold, but right now it looks like a strong attack that is easily dodged and going to leave us in a bad position.

The Republicans are not exactly trying to kill Obamacare, it is more like assisted suicide.
The Obama administration has admitted that they do not have the pricing and subsidy software for the 36 federally operated exchanges ready to go and that they don’t know when it will be ready.

"I think I just saw Obama on TV right now in reaction to the vote, acting like the whiney baby that he really is. Too busy to stop and see what hes saying, but he looks mad."

Boo-hoo, baby.
It seems like whenever Obama wins, Americans lose.
Way past time for a bit of turnaround (as much as we can get!).

"Ah, but he looks really mad! Hes got that laser death stare and eyes glazed over kind look that Ive seen before when he doesnt get what he wants. I am so tired of his arrogance. *sigh*"

For once, I actually want to see his face all crumpled up.

Keep repeating as necessary. Which is to say, most all of the time.

This one hasn't been around since the Bush days, time to renew it.

obama says republicans must compromise. Then in the next sentence he says he won’t compromise.
