Todays vote is a victory for the American people, who should not be forced to spend another dime on Obamacare. Opponents of the law are, and must remain, united in their opposition to funding this unworkable, unaffordable law. Senate Democrats must now make a decision: will they stand with President Obama to protect Obamacare or will they reject partisan politics to protect their constituents.

Put a “DNR” notation on the chart.
Time for the tongue-tied unions and other Democrat blocs that are scared spitless about ObamaCare to speak up and encourage their Democrat senators to get on board to defund this disaster. Why should the GOP have to fight it alone when it would benefit these morons who voted to re-elect the Worst President Ever.
If this is a propitious moment, a lot of pent up frustration will be harvested by the GOP now and it will stink to be the other guys.
BUT. The GOP should not get proud if this happens, as if they were so wonderful. What is wonderful, is God. This plan bids fair to block one of God’s means of bestowing grace. Big time. Jesus performed healings for a reason, and the greatly expanded capabilities of modern medicine — which Obamacare is poised to toss a monkey wrench into — is also a picture of this.
THAT is the "Money Shot"....and what should be hammered home in ads from now until 2014's Elections.
The takeover and elimination of competition, to favor specific LARGE contributors, aka, Drug Companies, along with moving to Single Payer for PRODUCTIVE earners subsidizing the parasitic Democrat voterbase, is what this is all about....
Perhaps I’m being cynical, but “what difference does it make?”, this will never get past the Senate!
Well, our dear Barack is a lame duck now. Let him quack his fake salve — we’ll go back to a real one. If events haven’t made it utterly clear by now that it IS a fake salve, they probably never will.
It all comes down to; will Senate Democrats place a higher priority on blindly following the whims of a lunatic or on getting reelected? That’s a pretty straight forward choice for those up for reelection in 2014.
Hey ‘cats it is poised to reap a lot of pent up frustration. The senate will see political heat like it never has seen before, now that the House has said no more goofing around. And the lame duck will be in the political roaster too.
Don’t discount the power of God to make fools look really foolish.
It will make as much difference as the first 41 times. Hard to get excited when the bill has no chance. The real fight was for the White House. This just in republicans lost and Obama was reelected and with it any hopes of repeal.
Was this strictly a party line vote? The breakdown is:
113th Congress, 1st Session
233 Republicans
200 Democrats
2 Seats Undecided
Not if we all spread the word. Our activism must match theirs, and logic and experience with previous debacles that "looked like a great idea," and are still with us, all negative experience support our position.
I would rather go down fighting and attacking, that run around in circles, shouting "Woe is us!"
But that's just me.
I know for certain, that if we do nothing, or "compromise," we are just as screwed if not worse."
"Freedom's just another word for 'nothing left to lose!"
Well, the issue is getting more coverage than usual this time. Because it is another CR up against the deadline, Dems are getting nervous and the media sees that its a chance to jump all over Republicans again. This is all about the messaging at this point but for some reason I believe Obama is itching for a shutdown.
He really needs a momentum swing and thinks this is it, despite the fact that his leadership has failed to ever produce a budget.
That's the most disgusting thing about the whole process, aside from the asinine, "You have to let us pass the law so you can see what's in it," the fact that it will not apply to the anointed ones, the elected officials, bureaucrats, Unions, and contributors.
WHAT KIND OF A FREE AND JUST SOCIETY IS THAT???
No elected congressperson (both houses) WHO HAS LOST SIGHT OF THAT DOESN'T BELONG IN OFFICE.
I think I just saw Obama on TV right now in reaction to the vote, acting like the whiney baby that he really is. Too busy to stop and see what he’s saying, but he looks mad.
Kind of analogous to the Syrian agreement - you say you have an agreement but nothing changes on the ground. I could see obamacare being much the same thing. First the implementation is postponed for several years, every interest group gets their own carveout exemption, and then the thing collapses of its own weight. Liberalism in all its internal contradictory glory!
