betcha the image data was still in there, a simple erasure marks the directory entry, doesn’t erase image per say.

not being a geek, I have no answer but ... is that something only a savvy teckie could reconstruct?

Also ... Can a savvy teckie actually erase everything?

It would be interesting to know what caliber security cankles has.

From what I understand, the person owns the phone and the image. The only right of security is to ask the person to leave.
