The Japanese news agency Kyodo News reported that the plants operator, Tokyo Electric Power Co., observed no abnormality in radiation or equipment after the quake
I guess that means no abonormality above and beyond what they've already been measuring from the last disaster...

Someone needs to show Obama how to change the locator setting on Rove’s earthquake machine again.

300 tons of radioactive water spilling into the Pacific ocean
daily is "normal" for them at this point. A 400 ft tall pipe near the reactors has 8 cracks in the support braces. Radiation level around the pipe is 10 sieverts per hour. A significant crack exists at a point 200 ft above ground.
The continuous pour of water for cooling is/has leached out most of the boron added to quench the emissions from the fuel rods in storage. The racks are unstable. A significant quake could collapse them into a pile with the possibility of going critical. It's just a matter of time as the site is too "hot" for humans to approach.

The Japanese seem to be on the cutting edge of robotics.
Kinda surprised they haven’t developed some sort of remote operated robot for this type of work.

That's the "new normal" we keep hearing about...

They tried robots even with enhanced shielding. Rads are too high. Humans and robots die in the basement of all 4 reactor buildings. Just a matter of how long they last. The robots that is. Floors 1-5 have very strong hot spots.

The big question is how many more cracks did it cause?

Well if you want to put on your tinfoil hat, the JNN feed right now appears to show an exhaust tower that is missing the top part (far left tower in video between #1 and #2). But it is very difficult to see. The Tepco cameras do not show the top section missing. Just another rendering oddity, I guess.

The Tepco cameras do not show the top section missingSort of like the D.C. traffic cameras showing empty streets and snow on 9/11 and not a single motorcycle.
The only time I've ever felt the earth jiggle was at Disneyland. It felt like someone had picked up the hotel bed, moved it over a few inches and set it back down. Nothing scary but really weird.
