Why? All Cruz has to do is say he's filibustering it and it goes nowhere. This isn't the old days when they had to hold the floor. They can filibuster from a hot tub if they want to.
AND if it goes on longer than that, start grabbing phone books at random from around the country and start reading names because all those people are going to be hit with zero-care and their identities should be HEARD! ;)

I don’t know for certain, but when Rand Paul filibustered earlier in the year, I recall hearing that he was not allowed to sit down and he could not hand off to anyone.
