Actually the article is very focused on how great it is that the country is moving left on social issues, that republicans are moving toward libertarianism on social issues.
We know that moving libertarian means moving left on social issues.
Those rinos are becoming accepting of homosexuals in the military and of the military accepting marriage equality, and of course the rest of the social agenda.
“”Whats more, an eye-popping 78% of Republicans consider themselves to be fiscally conservative, but socially moderate, which is a significant finding given the debate in the GOP on social issues.
Looking outside of just the Republican box, the poll found that 66% of respondents consider themselves to fiscally conservative and socially moderate.
These numbers show that the libertarian message is appealing, not only to Republican voters, but also to all Americans””
From the look at what the article actually said, you’re generalizing almost as bad as the Official Libertarian Party (aka herd of mongrel cats) is here. These guys DO bring moral libertarianism into their platforms, but they also keep up the confusion with political libertarianism that I painstakingly pointed out to you several posts above. Of course it’s evil and it’s not even self consistent. If you *WANTED* to vote for them it would be a pig-in-a-poke as to what you’d actually get.
Because you are so focused on damning, you can’t discern the two threads of thought here. “They’re just a bunch of low down rotten scoundrels and they make me mad and to hell with them!”
