The State Dept. has long wanted to “solve” the Israeli-Arab conflict by putting US/NATO/UN “peacekeepers” around the borders of Israel (turning that nation into a giant ghetto)—
which would make Israeli retaliatory strikes impossible.
Next, after UN and EU resolutions, would come the “rollback” of Israel to the 1967 borders (as the entire would would demand); “pressured” or “forced” by the presence of US/NATO/UN troops (peacekeepers).
Somehow that starts with US troops in the Golan.
Watch for it...
I don’t know when FDR said that if he did but after Pearl Jarbor guys who couldn’t serve died of shame. They were not in there for FDR
