Wallace was assigned to Sarah Palin as her campaign VP chief of staff in 2008, and was one of the anonymous backstabbers who tried to destroy her. She's good friends with Couric and was the one who set up that awful extended interview, in which Couric stalked Palin and then cut and pasted interview excerpts out of context to make Plain look bad.
It was all Wallace's fault.
