They also cited the reports as saying that Gazprombank made “payments for crude oil,”

And not in petro-federal reserve notes.

This is the thing that has the PsTB in such a state of panic. If Russian and China, followed by Brazil start trading oil with something other than the federal reserve note, the game is up for the folks that McCain, Graham, Obama and the rest of the filth answer to.

Whoa! Whoa!!

Here we are supplying weapons to the Muslim Brotherhood, but Russia isn’t supposed to help Assad?

Who are we to be the arbiters of what Russia should do?

IMO Russia is on the right side and we are dead wrong in this mess.

Democrats love war. Trade war, real war, it’s all just a game to them. Send them to the front and see how they run.

US lawmakers are calling for a crackdown against leading Russian lenders VTB, Vnesheconombank (VEB) and Gazprombank for allegedly helping Syrian President Bashar Assad circumvent sanctions,

We will know that WW3 is about to start once Russian banks are put on the OFAC list and assets frozen here in the U.S.

Not that I think that'll happen.....

It makes me feel strange every time I say this, but I stand with Russia, again.

Russia welcomes Islamic finance - September 15, 2013 - It is quite clear why Kazan has been chosen as the hub for Islamic investments. Tatarstan has accumulated considerable experience in international projects and contacts with investors from Muslim countries. Kazan has repeatedly hosted major international events, devoted to Islamic business and finance. Support and widening of investments will be one of the key issues at the upcoming 5th International Economic Summit of Russia and the countries of the OIC, which will be held in the capital of Tatarstan in October of this year. According to the experts, Islamic investors are showing interest in Russia both due to economic and geopolitical factors. Alberto Brugnoni, chairman of the Italian non-profit organization ASSAIF, says: “Muslim investors simply cannot ignore Russia due to its huge size, raw material resources, the size of its Muslim population and its proximity to several strategic Muslim countries in Central Asia.”

From my perspective it is beginning to look like the US and Russia need each other. Every now and then one of the two parties ends up being led by a very bad government class. The Soviet Union Russian period for example and the current Oligarchial US period. Seems like to be good neighbors we have to smack each other with a club every now and then.
