Trazodone is a hundred years old and not a spooky drug. Its usually written in low bedtime dose to knock people out, like 50mg or so. Once every couple years you’ll see someone taking a few hundred mgs a day, like when nothing else has worked and there’s nothing else to try, and they walk around like zombies.
It’s pretty interesting that a drug that has “insomnia” listed as a side effect is prescribed as a sleep aid.
