Be advised the author Ann Tracy is not a medical doctor and has no psychiatric training. She has a relatively meaningless doctorate in "Health sciences with emphasis on psychology," which basically means a whole lot of nothing.

Trazadone is routinely used as a night time soporific because it generally has the side effect of causing drowsiness, although it is not totally reliable at that. It is not much used as an antidepressant because it never proved to be very effective for that purpose.

This man had a serious mental disorder and was violent for years before the recent shooting. Trazadone was the least of his problems.

I’ve been taking Trazadone every night for the last three years for insomnia, and sleepwalking. I can now sleep through the night and I haven’t tried to kill anyone.

And she can't spell trazodone correctly.

It’s called demon possession...and the drugs magnify their power over time.
