The have the press, they have huge money making lots of government employment unionized. Teachers union gave a good part of a billion each election. Those on welfare vote for more.
You have those that are on some kind of public dole (welfare or government employment) against a smaller population that pays for it all.
It is a very stacked deck. The government unions at this point are IMO a money laundering device for the Democrat party.
They are LIARS!
As the Tom Delay, Ted Stevens & Sarah Palin "corruption" charges show VIVIDLY, the Democrats would not win A SINGLE election if they couldn't lie, cheat and smear good people.
