Have to review the beginning of the hearing because I came in late and picked up real time, BUT from what I’ve seen, this hearing has had several revealing moments! and that was one of them.

Another point that another freeper mentioned here, from the beginning of all of these hearings, all these questions about what help could have been given is ALWAYS answered from the point of view of HINDSIGHT. It was impossible to know how long the battle would last. Rarely are these “hindsight” answers ever challenged. I DO remember Chaffetz challenging it once, but no one ever pins them to the wall.
