In the year since the Benghazi terrorist attack took the lives of four Americans, House Republicans have continually pressed the Obama administration for answers regarding events preceding the attack, the administration’s response, and what has been done to protect the lives of Americans going forward. Those efforts will continue with three House committee hearings this week. Here’s more:
The House Foreign Affairs Committee holds a hearing Wednesday, September 18th at 10 am ET titled: “Benghazi: Where is the State Department Accountability?” The committee notes that four employees placed on administration leave following the attack have recently been re-assigned within the department. This hearing “will examine why no one inside the State Department has yet been held accountable for the failures and deficiencies identified” in the Benghazi Accountability Review Board’s report. [TUNE IN HERE ] The House Oversight & Government Reform Committee holds a hearing Thursday, September 19th at 9:30 am ET with Benghazi Accountability Review Board co-chairs Ambassador Thomas R. Pickering and Admiral Michael G. Mullen, USN (Ret.), members of the Department’s security panel that conducted a review, and family members of those killed in the attack. The hearing will focus on the review board’s investigation and questions that still remain regarding the attack and the administration’s response. [TUNE IN HERE] The House Armed Services Committee will hold a hearing Thursday, September 19th at 3:30 pm ET on lessons from Benghazi and the Defense Department’s ability to respond to similar attacks today. Earlier this year, House Republicans released an interim report on Benghazi outlining the findings of five committees of jurisdiction investigating the attacks, and laying out next steps – including additional hearings and an ongoing effort to obtain access to witnesses and information being withheld by the Obama administration. “It is disgraceful that one year later, even though a number of the terrorists who participated in this attack have been identified, not a single one has been brought to justice, Speaker Boehner said last week, pledging that Republicans “will press forward with our investigation until we have answers, full accountability, and justice.”

I despise this format. It GUARANTEES the committee can never get to the bottom of an issue. If these committees ever get to a revelation, it is purely by chance happenstance.
A couple freepers suggested members should turn over all their time to Gowdy, Chaffetz, etc -— members who know how to cross-examine or at very least are intimately familiar with the facts of Benghazi and the black holes where all light is buried.
Never will happen -— too much ego.

Mullen is a private citizen these days but I think he sits on some boards of certain companies...want to watch this but anyone can google what he’s up to these days...

Also, and VERY importantly, the fact that the 'kidnapping of Stevens' issue and the 'Was the Muslim Brotherhood involved' question is being asked is evidence that the theory of Benghazi being about kidnapping Stevens so Obama could give the Blind Sheik to the Muslim Brotherhood before he possibly leaves office is in the minds of some of these participants in this hearing.
The staged kidnapping of Stevens MADE POSSIBLE BY HILLARY via HER reduction in his security is NO LONGER 'TIN FOIL HAT', IMO. 0bama wanted HIS Muslim Brotherhood to get the Blind Sheik back. 0bama and the MB feared that Romney might get elected which at that point such a release would be impossible.

The hackers targeted Mr. Mullen’s personal computers, which he used while working on the grounds of the U.S. Naval Academy since his retirement in 2011, according to officials and others familiar with the probe. Those people said FBI agents took away two computers in late October and returned them in mid-November.
One official said that evidence gathered by the FBI points to China as the origin of the hacking, and that it appeared the perpetrators were able to access a personal email account of Mr. Mullen. The official declined to be more specific.

She was about 10 minutes ago. I was shocked because at least SOMEONE is connecting the dots.
So how come the Obama Administration cooperates with Al Jazeera and not the Republican-controlled House of Representatives? Al Jazeera gets the Independent Security Panel's report and House can't -- the House can't even get a straight answer why Adm Mullins found it necessary to give the State Department a "head's up" that one of State's employees would not be a "good witness" for them and should be replaced.

While I wish someone would have stated to Mullen it was not his BUSINESS as an “independent” investigator to decided who was a weak witness or not, we all know the answer to that question. His buddies in the administration were under attack and he wanted to give them CYA info...simple as that. Mills put him on the ARB because she KNEW he’d play ball...
