| Mystery of Foss Lake: Two submerged cars containing five bodies are found by chance after FIFTY YEAR

They had lain undiscovered under an Oklahoma lake for fifty years.
And now the discovery of two rusting vintage cars containing five bodies has reignited the mystery of how three teenagers and one couple vanished more than five decades ago.
Highway patrol officers testing their sonar equipment Foss Lake near Elk City, Oklahoma on Friday stumbled upon the rusting 1969 Camaro and a Chevrolet dating from the 1950s.
Inside the Camaro were three bodies believed to be of local teenagers who vanished after going out for a drive in 1970. Inside the Chevrolet were two bodies thought to be a couple who went missing in the state in the late 1950s or early 1960s.

Or both cars missed the same turn? More than likely, given the 69-year-old and friends went missing a decade or two before the teens.

Was the family dog in the car? If nobody claims it, perhaps it can be served at the White House.

Apparently the Camaro had a flux capacitor option in ‘69.

Are you anti-ocean? America has what 8,000 or more miles of ocean shoreline and you didn’t even mention it.

"Maybe 3 + 3 = 5 now equals five? "I don't imagine the bodies were in very good shape after so many years - just bones, which were scattered further during the process of getting the cars out of the lake. Once they got a closer look, the investigators probably realized they had 6 sets of remains rather than 5 and the story was revised.
To: doc1019
They had a similar situation in Delaware back in the 80's where the only reason they found out about people missing the turn is that the cars piled up so high underwater that the last cars antenna was sticking out of the water at low tide.
The first words from the diver that was sent to investigate was, "You need a parking lot attendant down there".

Yes, but the other car, even if new at the time, cannot be 50 years old, yet the headline says that the two cars were submerged for 50 years.
