I don’t put too much into any one election, but if Cuccinelli loses to McAuliffe, I will be damn near convinced our nation is lost. The only way Virginia selects that slime ball over a a very impressive and accomplished Cuccinelli is if the tipping point is truly achieved and the masses simply can be turned out to vote regardless of candidate. I know many of us feel that after 2012 anyway, but my hope is that the lack of a serious alternative in the challenger spot contributed tot he outcome. In this race, it is undeniable which is the superior candidate and which would be the better gocernor.
Cuccinelli gave a short speech at the Bristol Nascar race, ragged on Baraq about gun control. He got a lot of cheers, but not sure how many fans were from Va, certainly some as that corner of Tn is close by.
Cuccinelli should rip out a page from De Blasio book of campaigning and feature his family more prominently in some of the ads. I think he has seven children. It’s time to get close up and personal in a positive way. Chances are someone as accomplished as Cuccinelli married a well spoken, presentable woman. Send your better half out there if he hasn’t already done so. Many of our Republicans running for office are ready and able to do a good job, just not very keen on selling themselves to the LoFo voting public.
Virginia!
