Oh, I'm certain he will agonize terribly over whether to sign it. Right.
So long, California. Only the gangbangers and illegals will have ammo now because they don't care if they're carrying lead bullets. They'll be back on the street the next day. Joe-six-pack? Oh, hell no. Your life will be ruined. You'll lose your job, have to get rid of all your firearms, etc.

All tyrannies strive to disarm their subjects before they crack down to turn subjects into slaves. It’s a progress.

***Legislation that would completely ban lead ammunition from the state of California is sitting on Governor Jerry Brown’s (D) desk,****
The government of Cali is still trying to get around the voter rejection of PROP 15 back in 1982 that would have banned the sale of handguns in Kali.
Can’t ban handguns? Ban magazines. Ban lead. Ban semi-autos. Ban! BAN! BAN!

This state has completely gone off the deep end. Cradle to grave nannyhood, with sodomy of your sons in between.
All sane people need to flee, and shake the dust from your feet on the way out.

Another black market created. Just what the cops need to do, search vehicles coming into CA for lead ammo contraband.
Are they banning the use or just the sale?

Conservatives should be doing what libs would be doing right now: shopping for a judge to give them a favorable ruling. Stop the implementation of the law until a full judicial review can be done. Then (if the result is an unfavorable ruling) take it through the courts.

What about .22 ammo?
>22 is used for small game and non-lead .22 rimfire ammo is, to borrow a phrase from Twain, “scarce, almighty scarce”.

libs hate guns and family, and hunting is a HUGE father/son rite of passage.
They’re trying to kill two condors with one stone, here.

What does ammunition with out lead look and feel like? What do they use? Brass, copper, uranium? I expect there are some serious ballistic adjustments that will need to be considered. The guns might have to be re-engineered. Or.... KAnians will just not be able to shoot guns.

the excuses are getting a TAD far fetched.... Proponents also "point to a 2008 study by the Centers for Disease Control and the North Dakota Department of Public Health that concluded lead is so prevalent in meat harvested through hunting that pregnant women and children should never eat it."
how LARGE is ANY given round? how long do these people think it would remain in the animal's carcass?? YEARS?? It would have to remain there for a significant period of time to leach into the muscles and fatty tissue.
Lead just isnt that Water Soluable.
"These condors are flocking around... dump sites. They are vultures. They also congregate around lookout towers, and there are pictures of them eating the chipped lead paint. The point is, there are alternative sources of lead in the environment which are probably the source of the lead.""

“Proponents of the ban claim it will protect endangered species, like the condor”
If that’s the case, include wind turbines to the ban.
