It’s understandable when you consider what he is:

He is a mad jackrabbit on crack, but he isn’t doing all these things by himself. In fact, I don’t believe he is doing any of them at all. Sure, he firmly believes in the outcome of all this, to destroy America. But he himself is just an empty suit, a teleprompter reader with no more innate intelligence, ability and drive than the average mid-market weekend news anchor.
His handlers, who write what goes on the teleprompter, are the ones really doing all this.
