We must NOT be silent.
This is not simple discrimination.
This is a pogrom, a purge.
Enforced neutrality always violates free exercise. In fact, enforced neutrality is “an establishment” of religion.
Yes, we should stand up for Jesus no matter what. Jesus has made it clear that we won’t always win on this earth, but that we will live in His victory, which we will literally see when we enter heaven or when He returns, whichever comes first.
His words from His Sermon on the Mount (my caps):
Blessed ARE those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs IS the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me.
