While we were going to the moon, check the veracity of this by any public or private school attendee of the time, we were in a serious education race.
It’s true, but forgotten
We pay lip service to education while allowing libs to take over
The United States benefitted from two things post-Cold War.
1. We were the only major industrialized country that didn’t have a good part of their infrastructure destroyed by the war.
2. A good chunk of the world was engaged in that failed experiment called “Communism” with its’ inefficient central planning.
Of course it makes sense under those conditions that we were able to eat the Worlds’ lunch. But now the rest of the world is catching up quickly.
