Candy Crowley: ´Who Cares´ if Putin Gained from Syria Deal?

CNN´s "State of the Union" host Candy Crowley asked House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Rogers whether it makes any difference that Vladimir Putin and Russia got the upper hand over the U.S. in the deal struck on Syria´s chemical weapons.

Here, Putin got it right: (1) more likely that the Islamic rebels used the gas; (2) the rebels are worse than Assad.

In modern urban culture, anything that reflects poorly on the individual can be answered with a repeated “Whatever! Whatever WHATEVER!!” and as long as the other side cannot finish stating their point, then it was never made, and the loser never actually lost. It is pathetic beyond words that this is what our current Administration has to fall back on, but this is where we are as a country and a culture.

The Left also sincerely believes that rhetorical questions make an unbeatable point. However, they presume that every question that isn't immediately answered is a rhetorical question. It is GREAT fun answering, and watching the faces of the Lefties on hand simply stammer and get in a huff. In this case:

Ms Crowley, it matters because our President was clearly and very publicly "schooled", and it made America lose stature on the global scene. With both China and Russia looking to take a top spot on the global stage, this even was a huge help for them. Further, our position as a leader in the Middle East has been greatly damaged, and we may not have the influence to intervene in important situations in the future because of it. Smaller nations may simply start looking to China and Russia for solutions in the future, because America's leaders are currently proving themselves to be unable to take the lead role in important strategic political struggles.

THAT'S why it matters.
