Having missed out on being born during the depression or the WWII era, I would have to say that the greatest strength I’ve seen in my lifetime has been President Ronald Reagan. The greatest weakness, our current culture.
Unless our culture changes, I see our future as CS Lewis so aptly put it, “We will not end with a bang but with a whimper.”
