Hearing today that the road leading into big elk meadows is gone (between Lyons and Estes park). Also, the small creek in the canyon has made a new path. This is where a small dam failed Wednesday night/Thursday. They will have to be airlifted out.
I’m near the Boulder Airport, 2 Chinooks and 3 Black-hawks have been cycling in and out all day bringing in evacuees.
