Cool! I always get disappointed when the thug is recovering in a hospital, or shot in the leg or whatever.
Shot dead is the only happy ending.
Even worse is when they’re airlifted to the hospital. What a waste.
The story does has a sense of permanence doesn't it?

Whenever I see “The victim was rushed to the hospital...” first thought is ``waddyamean “victim”’’ and the second is “rushed”?? Take the scenic route, dammit! Go around the lake, see the sights, it’s been a long day; stop for coffee. “Rush” indeed (upsidedown ! — called a blase’ mark)
