Russian President Vladimir Putin has accepted Irans invitation to visit Tehran to work out a strategy for the Islamic regimes nuclear program, Fars News Agency reported Saturday. The West believes the Iranian program is a front for developing nuclear weapons.
Putin, seen by Irans clerical establishment as a strong opponent to America and the West especially after his successful political play on averting a U.S. missile strike on Syria was approached by Iran to protect the Islamic regime in the face of continued pressure by the West over its illicit nuclear program. Russia and the U.S. reached agreement Saturday to take control of Syrian President Bashar Assads chemical weapons arsenal by mid-2014.
Fars, the media outlet run by Irans Revolutionary Guards, said Putin will soon travel to Tehran, although details of the trip have yet to be announced. Fars said Iranian President Hassan Rowhani issued the invitation to Putin on Friday while both leaders were attending the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. Putins spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, said the Russian president accepted.
Russia could possibly take new steps in solving the Iranian nuclear dossier, Rowhani said. The Russian initiative in relation to the Syrian chemical weapons and the steps taken by the Syrian officials provide this hope that a new war can be averted in the region.
Russia looks at Iran like a good neighbor, Putin was quoted as saying. I am very happy meeting the new Iranian president and personally congratulate him for his [recent presidential] victory.
We are aware of the opinions on the worlds stage in relation with Irans nuclear program; however, we have to also consider that Iran is our neighbor, a good neighbor. . . .

I know these things must come to pass but I also think that being warned it also a path to stopping events. Your insight on this is good. I can see where it is God plan to leave Israel alone to fight. I wish more people would understand what is happening.
Got your point but... here is my point. Iraq violence: Bombs cause mayhem across Iraq

A fresh wave of bombs has killed at least 21 people across Iraq - mostly targeting Shia areas - officials say.
The deadliest was in the city of Hilla, south of the capital Baghdad, where two car bombs at a market killed at least nine civilians.
Other bombs hit Baghdad itself as well as Basra, Nasiriya and Karbala in the south of the country.
Sectarian violence has surged across Iraq in recent months, reaching its highest level since 2008.
More than 5,000 people have been killed so far this year in Iraq, 800 of them in August alone, according to the United Nations.

Thank you. I apologize if I caused any offense.
I hope that none of us live under an illusion that Republicans like Bush, Cheney, McCain or Romney are better than Obama.
They are all leading us in the same direction of bigger government, amnesty for illegals, creation of world government-order, more spending and a larger national debt.
The Republican Party creates a lot of emotion about the issues and will do so with Obama’s dealings with Putin but it doesn’t really matter.
The GOP is the party of conservative words but not the party of conservative action.
No harm at all my friend. I feel exactly as you do.
This is and always was the real target. Even more worrisome, Putin's recently planned visit to Iran:
Jerusalem Post: Russia's Putin to visit Tehran for nuclear talks
"Kommersant also cited a defense industry source as saying Putin could discuss an offer to replace frozen shipments of S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems to Tehran with deliveries of Antey-2500 anti-ballistic missiles, an upgrade of the S-300s."
Iran is the one to watch. I feel the start of WWIII (Ezekiel 38) will revolve around Iran.
"Another horse, fiery red, went out. And it was granted to the one who sat on it to take peace from the earth, and that people should kill one another; and there was given to him a great sword."
Yes, it is unfolding right before our eyes. Now Drudge is has a piece about nukes and the Middle East.
I predicted Russia would move to protect Iran’s nuclear weapons next, ensuring Russia has allies in both the Shia and the Sunni.
Meanwhile, our POTUS is voting present again.
While he further plots his destructive agenda.
Just as the Soviet Union was transformed into friendlier, kinder superpower with the same socialist intent, Obama is transforming the USA into a socialist superpower.
The interesting question one needs to ask is who prevails and/or who aligns with each other?
Russia?
China?
a Socialized USA & Europe?
I don’t know the answer to that Erik. I know that I plan on fighting these bastards until we win.
Well now that’s a bit of interesting info. ...thank you very much for that information...I will surely keep that in mind.
In the postwar years the Mossadegh government of Iran was left leaning and pro-Soviet.
The US overthrew him in the early 1950’s to install the Shah as a pro-Western barrier to Soviet expansion.
Then came the overthrow of the Shah and the “Islamic Revolution” with American hostages being held by folks who spoke about “imperialism” in regards to America alongside the “Great Satan”.
I think some Soviet communists came out of the woodwork along with the Ayatollahs to create modern Iran.
....”I think some Soviet communists came out of the woodwork along with the Ayatollahs to create modern Iran”....
That may very well be so Nex.
Who actually snuffed the Shah? I knew the Revolution came out of that... but the hour is late and my mind cylinders are getting sluggish...I forgot and can’t bring it to mid???
There was a fire in a movie theater which resulted in a lot of deaths. Rioting that broke out in connection with it spread far and wide across the country to the point where the police and military were unable or unwilling to control it.
The Shah asked Jimmy Carter for help but Carter told him he
had to go, so the Shah ended up in exile in Panama and he died (1980) after being forced out of Panama and given refuge in Egypt by Mubarak’s predecessor Anwar Sadat.
Thank you again...so interesting understanding some of the history.
