(GENTLE HUG & CHASTE SMOOCH)
Well, today was the day from hell, and the lady from my past saved me. We had just finished shopping and found that I had a flat tire. I don't own a cell phone, but she does, and we managed to get AAA to put on the spare. It was hot waiting for those two hours.
Then we drove to Savannah to get that tire replaced as part of my road hazard policy. We didn't get home until late, but I managed to cook up a storm in the kitchen. Chicken baked in white wine, potatoes and onions, and my late mother's sherry mushrooms. It ended up well.
Early this morning she updated her Facebook page, and I was moved by what she said. She credited me with saving her life back in college 44 years ago. Today she saved me.

Goodness!
What a day, huh?
Maybe we have to have a bad day once in awhile,
to make us appreciate the good ones more?
The dinner you made sounds lovely!
What she posted on Facebook was incredibly sweet!
Hoping you two will stay in touch!
