More than 200 colleges and high schools across the nation participated in Young America's Foundation's 9/11: Never Forget Project. Students came together to establish an American flag memorial on campus consisting of 2,977 flags representing each person murdered in the terrorist attacks. Unfortunately, five student protesters at Middlebury College ripped the flags out of the ground before 3:00 pm. The 9/11: Never Forget Project has been an annual nonpartisan event at Middlebury College for the past ten years. By participating in the 9/11: Never Forget Project, students honor the victims of the attacks, as well as honor the American principles for which they died.
Middlebury student groups spent nearly two hours setting up the flag display yesterday morning. The protesters told Ben Kinney, president of the conservative club on campus, they were "confiscating" the flags in protest of "America's imperialism."
The protesters refused to compromise with the students because the flags were supposedly located on an "Indian burial ground and you can't have anything penetrating the Earth."

Good for you!
Those who allowed it?
They are comfortable, good looking, athletic, academically brilliant and unaware of the sacrifices of their great grandfathers, some of whom they personally met as toddlers.
They lost family members, neighbors, perhaps even parents in the Twin Tower attack.
They are brainwashed by school culture, and the entertainment media, perhaps a liberal news outlet or so.
They are wealthy, or their fathers are. They are onepercenters, many of them.
The same can be said of their parents who simply reffffuse to discern the moral and spiritual upbringing of their children and keep them away from these anti American holes.
Perhaps one or two are rethinking their actions and those of their classmates. But they are far away from the thinking of Captain Winters and Guarnier, Popeye Wynn and Buck, the Seal Team Six, and The firefighters 343 of whom died, charging toward the trouble after receiving absolution from priests like Fr. George Rutler and Fr. Judge, both of whom ran toward the trouble, whom these kids are far away from in spirit.
Spiritual neglect is the worst form of child abuse, from the thoughts of Fr. Goesslein.
Wake up, parents!
gated community attitude....I'll pass laws to forbid everyone else from doing what they want, or what they believe, or what they should eat, or where they should go, but damn if you little rabble are going to live next to me...
You just made my day.
Carry on.
IIRC there is no portion of official life at Middlebury that is not out-and-out communist.
When you see people doing that, they need to form human walls in front of them. If they touch them to push them out of the way, that’s assault.
On another thread I commented on the magnificent display of flags at Pepperdine University on the Pacific Coast Highway, CA, that we see for days (and nights) at this time of the year.
