President Barack Obama just waged an unprecedented three-week PR campaign to sell Americans and Congress on the need to go to war six television interviews in one night, a prime-time speech to the nation, and White House outreach to 93 senators and 375 representatives.
Its enough to make those on the left looking for his help on issues such as gun violence, climate change, racial profiling, immigration and jobs wonder whether their causes rate this kind of White House commitment. Is there an intensity gap?
I raised this issue to the president the other day, Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., told Yahoo News in a telephone interview.
Sanders, who for years has been calling for Washington to get its act together and take steps to boost job creation, said he prodded Obama when the president made a rare trip to Capitol Hill on Tuesday to make his Syria case to senators.
Its one thing to give a speech which most people know really is not going to translate into terribly strong action, Sanders said. Intensity is the key issue. Is he prepared to fight?

The liberals are wondering why the president hasn't reacted to their own pet issues with the same intensity as he has towards going to war with Syria.
You've got to be mind-boggled at how utterly clueless they are. The inability in which they don't see the forest for the trees defies rationale. Why doesn't it penetrate their cinder-blocked head that his intensity towards making war is precisely to avoid dealing with such mundane things, as jobs, the economy, all the liberal issues on their agenda. His brain has petered out from it all.
This is from their PR campaign, ya think?

Should work for OBayMe and Linda Graham, ya think?
I’m happy to see Zero waste his time losing at chess to Putin. It keeps his mind off new ideas to destroy the American economy.
Given the outcome of this latest “blitz,” do those other causes really want Øbama to turn his attention to their cause?
First of all, Sanders is not “I-Vt.” He is an avowed socialist, and only one member of the Senate rated farther to the left than him. That was Sen. Barack 0bama, “C-IL”
The other point is that 0bama cannot focus on any one issue for more than a few days. He makes senseless speeches like it’s some great pronouncement, and then moves on to the next shiny thing. But that’s what you get from an intellectual lightweight with a drug-addled brain.
Very interesting comment of which I haven’t seen offered up until this very moment. While the negative impact on cognitive abilities of marijuana use is open to debate as both a political as well as medical issue, I’ve known people having used marijuana to overwhelming addiction become afflicted with various physical, mental impairment. Taking into consideration the president’s considerable marijuana habit, I have no doubt it has indeed degraded whatever mental capabilities he’s had from Kenyan birth.
Bernie said he probed him. That says it all.
