And Putin seems quite supportive of the UN.

Is this supposed to be troubling? Right now, the UN is cautioning Obama and Kerry not to launch an American war in Syria. I consider that good advice.

For me it is troubling. I can’t answer for you or others. The UN is very troubling to me.

Putin’s strength, along with his claimed support of the UN...frightens me.

I have been tempted by Putin and Russia even before all this Syria mess exploded.

I caught myself looking longingly at some of the Russian policies, admiring Putin’s strength and knowing the whole damn time that I was deceiving myself.

I realized that I had best quit indulging and entertaining such notions.

I am very apprehensive and distrustful of Putin, even if he has some qualities I can admire.

I just remind myself— woe, woe

The UN has never been more than a pain in our side...and never will be...so why should their advice... Because Putin says so?.. Come on...the American people don’t want our nation to be involved with Syria and have made that crystal clear.....that should be enough for us all without the UN approval or not....and certainly without anything Putin might think we need to hear.
