A Georgia teen convicted of fatally shooting a baby in a stroller was sentenced Thursday to spend the rest of his life in prison with no chance of parole

Only a barbaric society would agree to such a sentence.

Any civilized people, realizing their civilization was on the balance of the justice scales, would have sentenced him to be executed.

Some think that he’ll die at the hands of someone in prison. To fob off his execution to some other lowlifes only reinforces our barbarity of behavior.

We have lost a golden opportunity to exhibit our civilized behavior. His execution should be scheduled for sometime September 2013.

the so-called minor prep...gets life (w/parole after 40 years).
