I bought my daughter a 2007 Beetle when she was in high school. It was a money pit. After that experience I wouldn’t buy a VW product if VW paid me. Contrary to what their commercials imply, German engineering sucks.
My daughter bought a VW. It was a POS. To change the water pump they had to remove half the front end of the car.
She got rid of it and is now a happy Toyota owner.
Yep! Look at any objective quality performance metric and VW is at the bottom for all models. Not sure how they stay in business now.
